The small Provincial Assemblies have debated the “executive” amendments in February and the “legislative and judicial” amendments in March. We have announced the common denominator report on the general agenda, “Constitutional Referendum.”

133 NGOs have participated in the meetings in February on the “executive” amendments. Mehmet Emin Adıyaman (People’s Democratic Party – HDP) in Iğdır, Utku Çakırözer (Republican People’s Party – CHP) in Eskişehir, Aytuğ Atıcı and Hüseyin Çamak (CHP) in Mersin have  taken their seats in the meetings. Former Bar Association Chairman Fevzi Konaç in Kayseri, Bar Association Chairman Rıza Öztekin in Eskişehir and academic Serdar Ünver in Ankara have participated in the meetings as guest speakers. ""

Muğla MPs Ömer Suha Aldan (CHP) and Akın Üstündağ (CHP) have participated in the meetings we organized in March on the “legislative and judicial” amendments. Mersin sPA has gathered in Anamur in March, with the participation of Anamur Mayor Mehmet Türe.

The participants have agreed on two common denominators:

*Turkey still needs a new civil and democratic Constitution.

*Social polarization will only make Turkey lose in the end, there will be no winner.

Please click here for detailed information on other participants and special guests, as well as all other opinions presented during the meetings.
